Design of the In-Vehicle Driving Behavior and Crash Risk Study: The SHRP 2 Naturalistic Driving Study

TRB’s second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) has released a project brief summarizing SHRP 2 Project S05, which resulted in the design of the in-vehicle driving behavior and crash risk study. That study, also known as the SHRP 2 naturalistic driving study, will collect real-world driving behavior for a two-year period beginning in 2010.
