The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General has released a semiannual report to Congress for the first half of fiscal year 2012. Over the past 6 months, the Office of Inspector General has issued 83 reports with a total of 234 recommendations, including financial recommendations totaling over $1.4 billion.
