The National Research Council’s Committee on Electronic Vehicle Controls and Unintended Acceleration will hold its first meeting on June 30-July 1, 2010, in Washington, D.C. The first meeting of the committee is designed to gather information for a review of past and current industry and government efforts to identify possible sources of sudden acceleration in motor vehicles.
