Employment Opportunities Room
Located in the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, this room offers a self-service venue for matching available positions and candidates. Job seekers supply résumés, and employers post vacancies.
    Employers
  • Post vacancies on the appropriate Positions Available board(s).
  • Copies of the posting may be placed on the table below the board(s) for candidates to take.
  • Candidates will supply resumés on the Candidates Available table for you to review and take.
    Candidates
  • To facilitate on-site interviews, your resumé should include a cell or local phone number.
  • Place your resume in a manila folder in the appropriate file on the Candidates Available table.
  • Employers may take resumés so keep your folder(s) stocked.
  • Positions Available board(s) will be available for you to review. Copies of the postings may be available on the table below the board for you to take; if not, please write down the information - do not remove the posting from the board!

Bring copies of your resumé or job opening, paper, and a writing instrument. The hotel Business Office has photocopying available for a fee, if needed. All materials are discarded Wednesday at 6:00pm.

Continuing Education Credits
Nationally recognized Professional Development Hours (PDHs) may be claimed for attending the TRB Annual Meeting. Each hour of participation earns one (1) PDH; attendees must maintain their own records of attendance using the Certification Maintenance Credits (PDF) form. TRB will confirm an individual’s registration at the request of the licensing or certifying agency.

CM logo For the first time, Continuing Maintenance [CM] credits for retaining American Institute of Certified Planners certification [AICP] were offered at the 2010 TRB Annual Meeting. The sessions approved for CM credits are noted in both the Annual Meeting Interactive Program and the printed Final Program. Note that, at this time, neither TRB nor the 2010 Annual Meeting is certified with the New York or Florida state licensing boards. TRB will continue to work with state boards to become an approved provider of their continuing education credits.

Exhibits
Plan now to visit the Annual Meeting exhibit hall to experience, firsthand, a showcase of the newest transportation-related products, services, and innovations. As an extension of the educational programming, the exhibits will expand your knowledge of the industry, providing another format venue for the 2010 spotlight theme “Investing in Our Transportation Future – BOLD Ideas to Meet BIG Challenges”.
